Day 34: Temple 45

Today we hiked into the mountains to the rock temple. First we hiked up and over a pass that had a great view of the town we started in.

  

After another pass we reached the Temple 45, Iwayaji which is built at the base of a big rock.  

There is a place where you can shimmy up a crack in the rock as a trial of your faith. No I didn't do it.

We then walked along a stream and found this temple and statue in a cave above it.
