On a visit to Kamakura south of Tokyo we stopped at the Ōfuna Kannon-ji Temple.
The temple and its grounds were very peaceful, watched over by the 82' tall statue of the Mercy Buddha. Inside the Buddha (enter from the back), there was a small museum with people making small wooden carved Buddha's. They even had classes if you wanted to learn how to make them.
We also visited a garden where they had dandelions? for sale - only 700 yen (about $4.50).
