Day 18: Kochi Castle and dentist

I rode the bus and train back to Kochi for my dental appt. Got there in plenty of time and picked up some special Shikoku tshirts that are only sold at the Montbell in Kochi. Temporary crown and treatment was 5580 yen or 37 dollars. I then visited Kochi Castle, one of 12 original castles left in Japan.

The castle had high walls with spikes and openings to pour hot oil onto attackers.

The view from the top was wonderful.
