We started with a short walk through a bamboo forest and around a pond to Temple 72, Mandaraji.
A very short walk to Temple 73, Shusshakaji where we saw this little guy. I liked the flowers in their hand washing area.
On the way to Temple 74, Kōyamaji we saw walked by wheat fields and loquat trees. They bag the fruit to keep the bugs off them.
This temple was a special rabbit temple and Sawako was born in the year of the rabbit so she liked it.
Temple 75, Zentsūji was next.
At Temple 76, Konzōji, there was a kids festival going on as Mother's Day is tomorrow.
We met the Ohenro-san from France and joined them at this small Udon noodle restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has been open since the 1800's. The fourth generation is the family is running it. The light on the left blinks when the restaurant is open.
At the last Temple 77, Dōryūji, the monk who stamped our book gave us this probiotic drink osettai.
We then checked into our hotel and visited Marugame Castle.
We walked 23.8km today. You can see a map of my tracks here (you may have to refresh the page after a minute to get it to show). If you have Google Earth, it is faster to download a Google Earth file of my adventure from here.
Temple 77!
