Shikoku Day 42: Temples 63, 64

A rainy day walking through towns to see two temples. Temple 63, Kichijōji is small and just off the main highway.

Temple 64, Maegamiji was up a small hill. The main hall was set away from the others in the woods.

Most of the time we walked through towns, but one stretch was through a wooded area.

We walked with Chizuru and Ellie until they had to catch a train as this is the end of their section.

Toward the end of the day we found this Zenkonyado, a place where ohenro-san can stay for free. The saying on the poster is that as a baby you start with nothing and when you die, you leave with nothing.

We walked 31.1km today. You can see a map of my tracks here (you may have to refresh the page after a minute to get it to show).  If you have Google Earth, it is faster to download a Google Earth file of my adventure from here.
