Day 0: Getting to Shikoku

Started the trip by traveling from Chiba to Kobe. Took a rapid train from Chiba to Tokyo where we took a Shinkansen train to Kobe. The Shinkansen trains are amazing. Extremely smooth, fast, lots of leg room and so on. In Kobe we had, you guessed it, Kobe beef for dinner. Tomorrow we will take the bus to Shikoku island, get the rest of our pilgrim gear, and if we have time visit the first temple.  The next day after that, we start the long walk.
