Woke up in the middle of the night to lots of shaking due to a 6.6 earthquake. Luckily, there were only a few injuries reported. In the morning we started out in the rain and walked by a typical henro resting hut and a planting of amaryllis.
We walked through a 1043m tunnel to get to the fishing port of Tosashimizu.
On the edge of town we saw an Egret rookery and pretty bi-color flowers.
In the afternoon it was sunny for our walk along the sea shore.
Take care, Ski.
